1. We NEED two incomes to survive... Yeah Right! I honestly believe that out of the people that say this 90% would be just fine if they would cut their lifestyle, move to a cheaper area and sacrifice. I am not buying it one bit when people say this.
2. I put my kid in Daycare for the socialization.. Good grief, how much socialization does a 10 month old need?? Besides there are better ways to much socialize young children.
3. I am a better mom if I work outside the home.. UGHH! How in the world do you think you are a better mom by handing your kid off to Grandma or someone else to raise while you go work?? Unless you are going to beat them or verbally abuse them, I always think at home with mom is where kids thrive the most..
THere are others I can't stand, but these are my top 3. Have at it..

It's on our property for one, two it's hidden from street view based on vegetation and a backyard fence and three, only we have the combination to the gate/fence (separate from the backyard fence)

Give that woman a prize.

But not the entire lake?

Of course it is, this fictional two year old isn't relevant to my backyard pool that is open (winkie icon) 24/7 and not only open from 1-6pm....

Over the entire lake no. However my children know where to swim and where not to swim. They have grown up on that lake as did I. It isnt about comfort level. It is about them knowing the rules and they follow them.

Most people dont have problems with their drains. I watched the show (I believe it was 20/20 or Primetime) very scary stuff. However they do have a strong suction and can be quite deadly.

Yes we do. That is why we dont have a pool in our backyard. I like having a professional that can help out in case of an emergency there on site when we go to the pool.

But not to the entire neighborhood that would be very similar to the subdivision pools.

I know, that question was based on her comments to missy about my pool being open 24/7 and how nice it is too swim at night.
PumpkinAngel
So what keeps any pool from not being open 24/7 if fences/locks aren't doing the trick?
PumpkinAngel
Oh, I so disagree.
PumpkinAngel
So again, how is that different?
