1. We NEED two incomes to survive... Yeah Right! I honestly believe that out of the people that say this 90% would be just fine if they would cut their lifestyle, move to a cheaper area and sacrifice. I am not buying it one bit when people say this.

2. I put my kid in Daycare for the socialization.. Good grief, how much socialization does a 10 month old need?? Besides there are better ways to much socialize young children.

3. I am a better mom if I work outside the home.. UGHH! How in the world do you think you are a better mom by handing your kid off to Grandma or someone else to raise while you go work?? Unless you are going to beat them or verbally abuse them, I always think at home with mom is where kids thrive the most..

THere are others I can't stand, but these are my top 3. Have at it..

Oh I dunno Lois -- I mean sure it's no 'were there grill marks on the chicken in your caesar salad" debate but I think it has left the much heralded 'six ounce versus 8 oz wine glass' debate in the dust... I mean that one was a REAL snooze.

Yes. We. Did.

Last summer, there were several drownings at community pools in the Wash DC area with lifeguards present and on duty. One of them happened to be the 5 y/o son of a high school classmate of mine. Very sad. Having a "professional" lifeguard on duty does not guarantee safety in any pool. In fact, in the drowning of the 5 y/o, the lifeguard actually panicked and it was bystanders that did CPR on the child. Unfortunately, he did not survive.

Right, with a winkie icon in response to someone stating that their neighborhood pool was only open from 1-6pm.

Something else I have never stated or implied.

If only that is what I was laughing at.

I wouldnt call that lifeguard a professional. The lifeguards our pool employs are both EMT's.

Again, context is very important here.

Did either of them go on quite this long? Usually these really dull ones come late at night and the agent provocateur eventually goes to bed. This one has truly epic possibilities, if only because of timing.

Of course, never stated differently.
