1. We NEED two incomes to survive... Yeah Right! I honestly believe that out of the people that say this 90% would be just fine if they would cut their lifestyle, move to a cheaper area and sacrifice. I am not buying it one bit when people say this.

2. I put my kid in Daycare for the socialization.. Good grief, how much socialization does a 10 month old need?? Besides there are better ways to much socialize young children.

3. I am a better mom if I work outside the home.. UGHH! How in the world do you think you are a better mom by handing your kid off to Grandma or someone else to raise while you go work?? Unless you are going to beat them or verbally abuse them, I always think at home with mom is where kids thrive the most..

THere are others I can't stand, but these are my top 3. Have at it..

I definitely think that it's the dad/daughter and mom/son thing at our house. As Joy became an adult, she "switched" over to me; Erica still leans more to dh than to me; Angela, it's 50/50. Dylan, being a 9 yo boy, is outgrowing needing to be "mommied" so he is prefering dh for all the "guy" things. But still goes to me for costume advice.

Sure I think being sarcastic, or facetious is funny. I just dont find someone saying their 15 yr old enjoys an audience while showering funny. You may...I dont.

What context are you referring to? Where is the context that would show that her small sentence included her talking only about people that have access and permission?

<<>>

Somehow I think you are correct.

Yes...and I have told her so MULTIPLE times now.

Not to me you didnt. You did clear it up later to me, and I believe I said I got it multiple times now. Not really sure why we are continuing here.

I have read the entire thread. Were you referring to two different people when using the word "she" or just one? It is still helpful to refer to people by screenname regardless.

For me, it depends on the context. And in the context of this particular subthread, I found it funny. You, however, seemed to think, based on your response, that she was being serious. Your prerogative, but I stand by my use of the LOL icon and winkie notation b/c I understood her to be joking, which she apparently was.
