Top 3 Excuses I Can't Stand from WOHMs..

1. We NEED two incomes to survive... Yeah Right! I honestly believe that out of the people that say this 90% would be just fine if they would cut their lifestyle, move to a cheaper area and sacrifice. I am not buying it one bit when people say this.

2. I put my kid in Daycare for the socialization.. Good grief, how much socialization does a 10 month old need?? Besides there are better ways to much socialize young children.

3. I am a better mom if I work outside the home.. UGHH! How in the world do you think you are a better mom by handing your kid off to Grandma or someone else to raise while you go work?? Unless you are going to beat them or verbally abuse them, I always think at home with mom is where kids thrive the most..

THere are others I can't stand, but these are my top 3. Have at it..

I am curious too. We haven't had a pool for several years, but the only cover I am aware of is the solar type that you described.

There are automatic pool covers. Covers that take about 45 seconds to close with the touch of a button. It can hold hundreds and hundreds of pounds also.

I thought your prompt response meant that you are available to us 24/7! I am disappointed, lol.

Nah not really. When someone is really not completely knowledgeable about something they show that by personally attacking someone. It is the best they have.

I agree breastfeeding is important, but I dont see it as preventing a parent from woh. I know lots of people who had great success with pumping.

It seems to me that regardless of your clarifications and re-clarifications, what you are implying is that a parent who returns to woh ft earlier than you did is somehow less bonded with their child.

I honestly do not understand how any parent can even consider/ask that woh would weaken the bond between parent-child. The bond I felt was immediate and intense. If I'd had to return to work the next DAY I cant imagine ANYTHING weakening that bond.

Hey I married a sissy-man too! And he was a single father to a little girl for 6 years before I met him, making him even MORE of a sissy in some people's eyes I suppose...lol

I don't imagine it's at all easy, caring for a 13yo that way. But at what point do you go to a bathroom or bedroom to do her diaper? Wouldn't you be concerned for her privacy, or for the sensitivities of the 3yo?
