What about eating issues?

We have debated sleeping issues to death once again....so what about another one of the issues of childhood....eating and/or not eating?

My kids eat just about anything and have a pretty well rounded diet.

First of all, I don't know about the cotton you wear, but my shorts aren't so tight that I'm too worried about bulges and bumps (and goodness knows I have them).

No - there haven't been examples. There isn't even an idea of what would constitute an example. None of the attempts, which range all the way from preparing two separte meals, to preparing only meals that ever accomodate one person - too bad for everyone else - time and time again, to assuming a sidedish will suffice in all cases, scream "We don't entertain. Ever."

Never owned a pair of lined shorts in my life.

The lining is about 1/8 of an inch thick - hardly a "double layer."

Is that it?

We adjust our bedtimes for things like when family comes over for dinner. Heck, my parents were here last week, delivering our wedding present and having a semi-party for ds. We ended up not doing supper until well after 7:30 (we usually eat by about 6:45). Didn't get home until 9:15 with ds (bedtime is usually 9:00) and still needed to do bday cake. So, kids got to bed abouty 10.

We also adjust for things like a really good movie being on, friends being over, heck .. even being horny warrants a night well past our bedtime.

It's okay, QM. Wouldn't dream of criticizing your Slacker way of life. Here in the East, we're all about diversity.
