What about eating issues?

We have debated sleeping issues to death once again....so what about another one of the issues of childhood....eating and/or not eating?

My kids eat just about anything and have a pretty well rounded diet.

You don't enjoy time spent with your family. You have lots of posts about that. You merely endure that. Can you come up with a post that justifies the decrease in income, in terms of some enjoyment in the here and now? Something that ammounts to "I've decided to eat the candy because I know a bit won't really make one iota of difference and I own a toothbrush and use it." rather than "I'm sticking to this miserable diet for my future benefit".

Well, I could still be wearing the knickers (button below the knee kind) that were stylish/fashionable in junior high and it would be a HUGE fashion faux pas.

I could still be wearing the stirrup pants that were fashionable in high school and it would be

No silly. Different groups. But we do have the same ones time and time again.

I wear white/peach cotton undies almost exclusively. Not an issue.

And with the bumps and bulges in my body, no amount of lining will help (well, maybe a titanium lining).

Let's not over-generalize about Slackers. Some of my best buds are Slackers. Maybe some of them like to *think* they're good at ferreting out information, but in that they're no more talented than non-Slackers. Especially while desperately seeking to kick some life into a lame premise that should have been given a dignified burial.

And I wouldn't call Macy's "high end." It's just a department store.

I would not want a friend to have veggie burgers at every get together. I wouldn't want burgers at every get together - why would I expect anyone else too?

When I have the kids teams over - I don't make any accomodations for anyone older than the team. Neither does anyone else. And that limitted age related option is typically decided by vote. If only one kid wants hotdogs rather than hamburgers, its going to be hamburgers all the way. Some kids don't want to choose from amongst what gets voted in - they bring their own chicken burgers or whatever they want. All the kids want pepperoni on their pizza - its perperoni. It makes zero sense to do otherwise, for any group of guests, no matter how old. We have one group we do alot of barbeques with. There is one vegetarian. He brings his own stuff. It takes the people organizing enough time and effort to consider the needs of the 45 people invovled. The one is on his own. Do you actually ever have teams over?
