What about eating issues?

We have debated sleeping issues to death once again....so what about another one of the issues of childhood....eating and/or not eating?

My kids eat just about anything and have a pretty well rounded diet.

I decided the same thing. Such an odd POV over such a trivial matter. After so many rants about "flexibility" and so on.

Ahhh, yes, there was a guest last year who had a lot of fun cooking on my stove. And I had a lot of fun eating what he was cooking.

Just so you know, gourmet doesn't always mean high end. Here's a REAL gourmet kitchen (one mine doesn't even come close to):
http://www.npr.org/programs/atc/features/2001/nov/child/011109.child.html and I don't see any Wolf, Dacor, SubZero, or Miele in the picture.

I don't think people really care how much we spent on the kitchen remodel. But nice try deflecting attention away from your salary.

I have clothes that I wear occasionally that I wear year after year. But I don't think that I would like wearing an everyday (for me) item like shorts year after year. Even if I buy the same colors the style is often different. In my case I don't think it matters anyway because I don't think that I could get more than a season or two even out of Macy's shorts. 8 hour days in 100+ temps working in a warehouse is really rough on clothing.

It doesn't matter anyway.

In all the years of ordering pizzas for multiple groups of people, I've never ordered all one type. Why on earth would you DO that? You are seriously topping pnjsmom on rigidity. This food rigidity is just amazing.

It isn't the difference between adult and kindergarten. It's the difference between rude adult (the behaviour you are describing) and polite adult (the behaviour everybody else is describing). You have described yourself as the most unbelievably rude hostess I have ever heard of. And you're PROUD of it. And think that other people who actually can do accomodations are lying about the frequency and quantity of their guests???? Seriously- what you are describing is appalling hostessing.
