What about eating issues?
| Fri, 06-10-2005 - 2:24pm |
We have debated sleeping issues to death once again....so what about another one of the issues of childhood....eating and/or not eating?
My kids eat just about anything and have a pretty well rounded diet.

I could be wrong, but what I took from her posts is that she couldn't imagine not ENJOYING time with her son and that having him gives her opportunities to enjoy things she wouldn't be able to do without having him in her life.
Her post regarding her dh's travel and her friends in CA has clarified further for both of us.
I'm not too different from her.
Honestly, I cannot think of one thing that he's asked me to change, ever. Wait. When we first met, I was a smoker, when I drank. He hated it so I stopped.
What I meant was, I couldn't imagine wanting to spend less time with my child. As in, I don't want a FT job where I would have to work 50+ hours a week. I would get less time with him. The increase in status, money, etc is not worth it to me.
I have some friends here, but not that many. Many of my friends in California were relationships I made in college. A few of my very close friends have been with me through thick and thin. It's very hard to replace those kinds of relationships. When I was in California, I went out with my friends all the time. I go out now occassionally. And DH and I go out when we can.
It's one reason I joined the gym. So I can get out of the house and meet people.

I don't want every waking minute with DS. And I'm not enthralled with him. But I do enjoy being with him. What's the point in having children if all you're doing is wishing you didn't have them?
