What about eating issues?

We have debated sleeping issues to death once again....so what about another one of the issues of childhood....eating and/or not eating?

My kids eat just about anything and have a pretty well rounded diet.

Just curious-have you ever gone shopping with anyone else to solicit another opinion of what looks good on you and what doesnt? Or are you completely comfortable with your own view?( I ask because you have often made it clear that other peoples/societys opinions matter to you). Personally I think its great if you feel good about what you are wearing and dont care what anyone else thinks! ;o)

Actually, pizza ordering is NOT a consensus thing. There is no reason whatsoever to all one type of pizza. The only time I've ever done that is when- by coincidence- everybody wanted one type. But that is pretty rare. Ordering multiple types of pizza is very common, done very frequently and actually is based in reality. Our two closest pizza places also do a half-and-half pizza so that you can get two types even if only ordering one pizza. I have no intention of trying things your way because my way let's EVERYBODY have pizza they like- and your way doesn't. My way is better.

Ours does a "every slice different" ... :)

Choose your friends by their character and your socks by their color.  Choosing your socks by their character makes no sense and choosing your friends by their color is unthinkable.

Because even with expensive, classic, clothing, the color and cut today is going to be quite different than that of 10+ years ago. No matter how lovely the item, if that is what most of your clothing line consists of, you're going to look out of date.

It seems like your position is this: you would never be able to accomodate guests with special dietary needs or preferences. You even think multiple pizzas have to be all one type. You are under the impression that not only is your way better, it is literally the only possible way so that anybody who claims to be accomodating must be lying about the number and frequency of guests.

Your position is wrong. Lots of people can make accomodations easily. Even people who can't cook are able to order multiple types of pizza (I can't believe you admitted to only ordering one type by consensus). If you can't, that is your weakness. But your weakness is not widely shared.

Lol, when I met my dh, he had longer hair than me! Blonde curls almost to the middle of his back. Then he went the other extreme and shaved his head! Now he just does the traditional, regular cut with it a little longer on top so he can gel it (at my request-I think it looks hot when its gelled and the messy look....)

My dh certainly wouldnt deem my hairstyle a dealbreaker, but he has mentioned that he prefers my hair longer, so I grew it out a bit.

And if looking out-of-date is not something the wearer is concerned about? There is nothing inherently wrong with looking out of date. So what if the cut can be identified as being from 1995? I don't care at all if my clothes look out of date? (Many of them are from the 90's).

But don't forget that one person's "dated" is another's "timeless classic".

If the person doesnt care, then its pretty irrelevent, dont you think? The point being, the most expensive wardrobe in the world doenst necessarily reflect a sense of style
