We have debated sleeping issues to death once again....so what about another one of the issues of childhood....eating and/or not eating?

My kids eat just about anything and have a pretty well rounded diet.

PJM's dress looks very similar to many of the current style prom dresses that I've seen at the mall. If you think she can still wear it 8 years from now (if it fits her and it's not worn out) what's the difference between that and me wearing my old dress?

I agree with your cable sweater example because the style of those haven't changed much over the years. V-neck, crewneck . . . you could easily wear one that you've had for 10 years (as long as it wasn't florescent green or had big ol' shoulder pads!) ;)

Order every kind of pizza? Requested by every guest? There's only two choices. One pizza or every kind of pizza for guest? Only two extreme choices? Really? On what planet?

Admit it. You're just afraid of your kitchen.

Huh? Quit making this sh!t up!

One pizza or one for each of your 45 guests. That's all there is.

I get my hair professionally colored about 4-5 times a year. I've had the same stylist forever so I trust her and usually let her do what she wants. Right now my hair is very red, a dark strawberry blonde! It was chin length not long ago, but I've since decided to grow it out and its now past my shoulders (it was longer but my stylist and I got to talking on my last visit and I think she took off 3 inches instead of 1, lol! No biggie!)

I also like to go in every couple years and get a makeover at Nordstrom or another cosmetics shop. Got a complete makeover at MAC in Vegas a couple years ago, and bought a whole bunch of new makeup, which was way fun!

Since you obviously have absolutely no experience with this, you're not ordering one type for one person. You order the meat type for the meat types, and the veggie type for the veggie types, the meat types cross over see, they cross over to the wild side and eat the type not typical for their type, including the type typical for their type. And the vegetarian is happy and gets a full meal.

Try to follow.

Oops. Sorry. I thought the harsh tone was a bit unlike you.

I think that the KEY to temperament issues is to identify the child's temperamental traits and view them positively whenever and wherever possible.

When I teach about temperament I ALWAYS use Jim Carrey and Robin Williams as examples. . . of very successful, determined, creative men who would have been HELL to be around as young children.
