What about eating issues?

We have debated sleeping issues to death once again....so what about another one of the issues of childhood....eating and/or not eating?

My kids eat just about anything and have a pretty well rounded diet.

Ah, the Zen mistress approach to life.

I believe in finding positives in temperaments so much so that I use labels to describe them that ARE less negative than others.

One temperament has been referred to as fearful or slow to warm. . .I don't use the term fearful, as it's too negative.

One temperament has been referred to as difficult or feisty. . .I use feisty, more often than not.

The most common temperament has been referred to as easy or flexible. . .I use the term flexible because I don't like the easy/difficult dichotomy that was initially set up in labeling.

I don't begin to comprehend this.

But being able to follow directions, or not, as the situation dictates is a really valuable skill.

Yeah, but you've never had MY fried okra. I'm sure I could get you to change your mind. (j/k you know! lol) three out of four of us love okra (gee, can you guess which one doesn't?) so we have it quite often.

Choose your friends by their character and your socks by their color.  Choosing your socks by their character makes no sense and choosing your friends by their color is unthinkable.

That's because you, OTBM, dogma, etc. post ad naseaum about all the positives.

Yes, but whether any nonparent would find Joey disagreeable has no impact whatsoever.
