What about eating issues?

We have debated sleeping issues to death once again....so what about another one of the issues of childhood....eating and/or not eating?
My kids eat just about anything and have a pretty well rounded diet.

That depends. Are you trying to alienate these people or socialize with them?
Honest, I don't see what the big deal is. One person doesn't dictate an entire meal. But in the act of playing hostess with the mostest, I think it would behoove one to serve a mixed bag of things that everyone can enjoy, if one intends that these people should leave with the desire of coming back to enjoy more of your good company.
I can't speak about vegans, I imagine that would require a bit more creativity, but having had to cook for a vegetarian in the house, it's really pretty simple to make "regular" as in run-of-the-mill, entrees with faux meats or other substitutes that even carnivores will eat.
If you enjoy experimenting and cooking, I think you'll enjoy the challenge of transforming typical meat-dishes to a vegetarian interpretation. It's part of that school of thought that promotes trying new things and new foods because it makes one fit company for one's self.
Not to me, or I wouldn't have asked for clarification.
Or, are you going to say that this is bait too?

The point being, if you invite him over for dinner, its your responsibility as a hostess to make sure there is food there he can eat-not
