What about eating issues?

We have debated sleeping issues to death once again....so what about another one of the issues of childhood....eating and/or not eating?

My kids eat just about anything and have a pretty well rounded diet.

Those were the days... warm Boone's farm, Pink Floyd on the 8-track, the back seat of my boyfriend's Plymouth Fury (his dad's, actually...); unforgettable. But I better stop now before my intelligence comes into question.

My sister lives in downstate IL and there are a number of fairly good (shockingly good, even) wineries down there; but they have a great sense of humor about themselves.

Well I guess that's just too bad for them, as I quite agree with you that no guest ought to be able to dictate the entire menu. They're entitled only to food that they find palatable. And I know of no meat-eater that finds ONLY meat palatable.

Of course, and I didn't suggest otherwise.

Indeed I do. And I would not invite over for dinner guests for whom I was unable to prepare an acceptable meal.

Why do you persist in assuming that if someone doesn't eat, say, beef, they'd object to a particular style of cooking of anything else?
