We have debated sleeping issues to death once again....so what about another one of the issues of childhood....eating and/or not eating?

My kids eat just about anything and have a pretty well rounded diet.

I still look out at the raft on the lake and think about the black blob in the water in "The Raft". Just thought about it the other day, lol.

How hard is it to follow the "genre" NO SHELLFISH, say? It's not an entire style of cuisine to avoid something that someone else avoids.

OMG! That reminds me of another one. Just yesterday, I bought Aspen and Vivi some floats for the lake, but it was raining so they played with them in the house. Aspen kept saying, "It floats! We float!" (ewwww! shudder).

Where are you getting this bizarre notion that anyone has suggested it is necessary or desirable to prepare the style of cuisine of whatever ethnicity the guest is?

"My busy well stocked kitchen won't help me out with anyone who wants a vegetarian main course beyond the spaghetti level. Which is the impromptu solution for many an unplanned get together." Hey, you're Ms. Accomodating after all. No one is asking anything else.

You're a little nonstandard in that regard.

You've obviously not met Virgo's kids. i can easily imagine time with them as being downtime.

Choose your friends by their character and your socks by their color.  Choosing your socks by their character makes no sense and choosing your friends by their color is unthinkable.

Getting there isn't too bad...just expensive once you get there, but so many of the museums are free.
