What about eating issues?

We have debated sleeping issues to death once again....so what about another one of the issues of childhood....eating and/or not eating?

My kids eat just about anything and have a pretty well rounded diet.

He's from the Ardmore area, but I think his ex lives in a smaller town near there.

Yea...I can see that.

Everyone has different priorities and things they need/want in order to have a balanced life.

And I think who you marry also has a big effect. DH is very much into family closeness and doing everything together. I see other couples are more independent and that works for them. He hates if I leave for work before him because he needs a subway buddy...a lot of times I rather ride the train alone and read my book! But I like to make him happy too ;)

You're right, if my DH were more interested in family togetherness, that could certainly change things (and might as the kids get older).

You missed my point. I don't need to "max" my savings. I feel I already am. And of course, like you, I'll be able to do more as time goes on. You pay for a nanny. I pay for private school. I won't be paying for that for the next 25 years.

I work an average of 25 hours a week. I work half the hours you do and make . . . about one third less than you.

Not necessarily true - you haven't a clue what my salary is - I believe I've said low six figures on the board.

I wasn't aware that private Jewish school ran $41K a year, but now I know.

Whell. So no Lunchables. What a relief. Given your evident reluctance to bend your rules and create varied menus, I was getting a little concerned.

No. They're entitled to expect palatable food, not everything they'd like. There is no one who finds nothing but meat palatable.

I guess you've never been to an Argenitian Parrillada ;)
