What do SAHMs do all day?

It was a question such as this that prompted  the male author to write the following article in the Huffington post.  He is tired of working moms of putting down his wife because she is SAH:

Look, I don't cast aspersions on women who work outside of the home. I understand that many of them are forced into it because they are single mothers, or because one income simply isn't enough to meet the financial needs of their family. Or they just choose to work because that's what they want to do. Fine. I also understand that most "professional" women aren't rude, pompous and smug, like the two I met recently.

But I don't want to sing Kumbaya right now. I want to kick our backwards, materialistic society in the shins and say, "GET YOUR FREAKING HEAD ON STRAIGHT, SOCIETY."

This conversation shouldn't be necessary. I shouldn't need to explain why it's insane for anyone -- particularly other women -- to have such contempt and hostility for "stay at home" mothers. Are we really so shallow? Are we really so confused? Are we really the first culture in the history of mankind to fail to grasp the glory and seriousness of motherhood? The pagans deified Maternity and turned it into a goddess. We've gone the other direction; we treat it like a disease or an obstacle.

I also found the last couple of paragraphs interesting, he was talking about how it doesn't matter who is busier and why we try to keep score.
Any thoughts on the article?

I know I know, the "lies" are like a sink hole b/c when there's nothing left to debate that is what they resort too. It's a common pattern and it's mean.

Yep. I am constantly told I lie. I have proven that I don't lie but I guess it is harder to face the truth for some.

Honestly, I can't remember the last time I called somebody a liar (irl or here), it's childish really, liar liar pants on fire.   I'm working at ignoring the posters that really don't have much to contribute than that instead, Yay me!  :-)

What other name have I had, Morty? I can't remember any other, but it's been over fifteen years, I could have forgotten one.

Sorry you forgot them already and the ones that you have used, I can assure, the majority of the posts have been within the last year or so, so NOT 58 months.

Are you seriously trying to deny frequent posting here bord? You even post when you're on vacation, you've admitted that. It really doesn't matter the number of screen names, it's the number of posts underneath the name. That's the logic er, math.

Jblessed, I am not trying to deny anything. If you take the number of posts next to my name, and divide it by the number if months I have used that name, you get the mean average posts per month; which is far fewer than Morty, who was all excited about me posting too often.

No, Morty, you are wrong. I gave no other I-Village accounts other than this one and the "lois_15354" account.

"I have plenty of positive contributions and make them, then get torn down for being all rainbows and sunshine.... Shaking head, sorry I don't call my life difficult bord, friendships alone to you are." Claiming your life is really good and other poster's lives suck is not exactly what I had in mind with the "positive contribution" idea.

You really need to slow down and read what you are replying to.

Excited? lol. You can not divide your posts in 58 months when you know that you post more often at certain times and it has been A LOT more NOW than 58 months ago.

It still doesn't change the fact that you are on here the SECOND I post. Why is that? Are you always on here refreshing?
