We do get asked that fairly frequently, but I think that has more to do with the fact that we are immigrants.

Yeah, when I do get it, it is often for the same reason. Since "station chief" won't quite cut it, I have to come up with something more innocuous ;).

Well its fun to keep em quessing...I also have to clarify I do not automatically say we own...when ppl ask me what i do...b/c that is how it may have came across in my post...I may say iam a sahm then may ask what does your dh do and i may say we own... sometime when ppl ask me if iam related too...I well say sarcastically "well of course iam" ...they will contnue to dig well are you...its funny...they never get a straight answer from me...

I get the how do you afford your kids a lot...i always keep em guessing and never act presumptious as in well we can...but completley opposite ...it drives ppl buggy..".well then how do you afford this this and this" ..."we just do it" lol
