What have you "given up" in order to have and parent children?

One of mine didn't really cotton to the toddler nursing thing either. I had to catch him when he was really hungry beginning around ten months or he wasn't interested. By 14 months he was done.

The other one I had to shove off when he was three.

Kids are different, and kids are wierd.

I don't think anything but the jarred food is just more convenient.

My mom? Why? It has nothing to do with her age-this was when I was a baby-36 years ago.

For my dd:

Sweats, Jeans, Capris, Skirts, Skorts, Shorts, Dresses---Tank Tops, T-Shirts, Dressy Shirts

lolol!!!

That is why I have to do a little here and there everyday so I either do not feel overwhelmed or feel like I don't have a life outside of just cleaning my house!!

Well it often has to do with what the custom was when your parent was growing up.

I am pretty sure that the jarred baby applesauce has less things in it then the "adult" ones.

Right now I just have a checking account, savings account (leave a little in there in case of emergencies and need cash-like this weekend when we needed to do our cesspool and paid cash and saved money), and our "main" savings account where I put our "savings" money, our tax money, our homeowners money and anything else (my vacation money at the moment) that will usually stay in there weekly. And..this account has a larger interest than the regular one.

I have never known so many people who have breastfed their children and made homemade baby food as this board!!! IME people either breasfeed (do not know many though that do it that long) or use formula for 12 months, jarred food and table food.
