ROFL! Entice? You say that like breastfeeding is bad, and that one should have a good reason why one doesn't choose formula.

Be honest here, are you one of the ones who thinks breastfeeding is icky?

I found other ways to make sure Samantha was getting enough iron. Formula and baby cereal certainly aren't necessary components of a baby's diet.

I think nature intended a woman to have a period and don't think it is good to go for many months without it.

No. They grow differently. Formula fed babies grow evenly over the first 12 months. Breastfed babies grow more quickly during the first 6 months, and then their growth levels off.

Icky? No, I am an adult and I preferred ff. I wouldn't have done it because I thought my child would have a higher IQ and like I said, I do not believe every study out there. If I had chosen bfing, it would not have been for any of the reasons listed. It would have been because that is what I wanted to do.

LOL. Nature intended women to formula feed, so they'd get their period back more quickly? Now, that's a hoot.

It has already been explained, that yes, it is actually a good thing not to ovulate (and therefore not have periods).
