Generally women who exclusively breastfeed do not get their periods back right away. That's how nature intended it.

They are not "still ovulating." It is that you ovulate PRIOR to getting your period.

You have to ovulate before you can get a period. Irish twins occur because women do not use birth control and do not realize that they have started to ovulate again after giving birth.
