Traveling because it's harder to work around their schedules and in general because it's harder to work around their schedules.

It has always been a priority for us, we enjoy the family vacation so we work hard to insure that it happens on some level each year.

They certainly could, but at 18 months and even now, our children prefer blander and less sophisticated food than we do.

Right, but that has nothing to do with their ages, whereas needing to wear diapers, take naps, be in bed early, eat/have milk or formula is age related, if it's applicable to the particular children in question.
