My baby is a little freak, LOL. He hates bland food. He refused flat out to eat baby food from jars, and then I figured out why when he practically attacked our Cuban take-out after getting a taste of the black beans and plantains.
Okay....so we can compare this accurately, let me know how many miles she swam, biked and ran the week before and how many baseball games she played....oh and what she did in the evening after camp, then we can compare this accurately.

Of course, because the other issues were non-issues with my kids and they are big issues with some kids, just as my issues now are non-issues with other families and it's a big issue with mine.
Not a debate, just a helpful tip to anyone whose baby only has a few teeth: When you have something like steak, instead of cutting it, try scraping it with a knife. Just scrape, scrape, scrape and you have a little pile of meat that doesn't require chewing.
Back to debate: Nutritionally, though, an 18 month old is capable of eating almost all of the same things as an adult (with obvious exceptions like peanuts and oysters). Whether or not they WILL eat it is another matter, LOL>
