Some of us do not like to keep our young kids up until 10 pm because they start misbehaving and are also very cranky the next day.

Sorry I didn't explain myself well. I had both his full lunch plus snacks with us but was unable for that length of time to access them due to the flight rules.

Yup, that is my dd as well. Now that it is summer, she routinely sleeps till 1 or 2 in the afternoon.

We do that a lot in our community as well. It's not just Moms, usually. It's Moms AND Dads.

Why do you assume that kids without bedtimes automatically stay up late?

If I may answer, I assume that because the few young children (under age 5) who have no bedtime all stayed up until they fell asleep in their tracks.

So you child swam laps a mile three times last week, biked 10 miles twice and then ran 2-3 miles twice the same week?
