Are you referring to the verb or the adjective? If the first, I mean clean as in squirting toilet bowl cleanser, swishing with the toilet brush, and wiping the surfaces of the seat, etc with Clorox wipes. If the second, I mean free of visible dirt and unhealthy levels of bacteria.
hmmm...I'm not sure my house would meet either of those definitions LOL.
Kelly and I were looking at house plans yesterday dreaming of building a hoem for the three of us and with one plan she said "oh god that house would take the whole weekend to clean"
I looked at her and said "um. I don't clean my 1500 sqf condo NOW what makes you think I'll be cleaning a 2000sqf house? I'm going to the BEACH on the weekend - have fun with the clorox!

I don't clean my toilet everday. Do you not have a dishwasher? I only have dishes in my sink (just usually pots and pans) that need to soak for awhile before they go into the dishwasher or be washed.
I has rained every afternoon for 2 weeks here and been very humd -- so my whole house is one big damp feeling mess... even the furniture feels damp-- and yeah it's a little funky LOL

I"m not TTQ but if I can chime in -- I do put money away even a little money every month in my savings to cover vacation costs -- for disney I am fortunate that I got a teeny little bit of money from my mom's insurance but I was well on my way to saving for that trip before I knew I was getting that - now that money I had saved can stay in savings -- but I think for us it's jsut that mini vacations and bigger ones and time away together is a big priority so we make it work -- Kelly saves a bit and I save a bit and we do it as economically as possible b/c the point is to be away together not how fancy it is.
I have a mortgage and condo fees that total about $1200 a montha dn I have a kid in private school and a car payment but I find the money somehow -- probably b/c we live very simply most of the time.

Do you have a separate account for vacations? Do you take the money out of savings when you decide to go someplace?
