What kind of errands....

Do you run on a daily basis? Weekly basis? Monthly basis?
I've often heard people say that they need a lot of time during the week to run errands and that those errands would otherwise take up their evenings and weekends if they had to WOH ft. It made me curious because I just don't seem to have many errands to run at all. Are we just lazy :-)?

No, actually, I've always made a high income since I graduated from law school, and my rent, car loan, student loan were all low enough to allow me to save a down payment on my first home in two years of working.
I guess most of my close friends either were in the same income situation, or made recreational spending a high priority.

"Its way easier for me to hit the slopes with friends post kids than it ever was pre kids. First of all careers being what they are, way more of my like minded friends can afford skis and teh ski days/trips to go along with them. Not to mention so many more of us can afford the awd/4x4 vehicles that tend to make actual execution so much more likely to happen."
So...because you had kids you now have more money and your friends have more money???? Did you choose a different career based on becoming a parent? Most folks I know have less disposable income after becoming parents. Good for you.

2)I had two incomes. The pre kid years represent those when it just wasn't very lucrative. As a result of the way careers and salary scales go. Not to mention, wealth building.
3)If I had kids at 37 I'd have had a very serious shortage of childless contemporaries from my social circle with which to ski. Like most people.
So then you agree that a child doesn't have to be in competitive anything, let alone sports to have an active, healthy childhood?
