What kind of errands....

Do you run on a daily basis? Weekly basis? Monthly basis?

I've often heard people say that they need a lot of time during the week to run errands and that those errands would otherwise take up their evenings and weekends if they had to WOH ft. It made me curious because I just don't seem to have many errands to run at all. Are we just lazy :-)?

I just read the coolest article in a running magazines that used baby bjorn as an example. The article was written by a gear junkie and explained all the ways having babies could fuel the addiction and offer the gear junkie even more excuse to aquire well, gear. Babies as convenient excuses for a parent to do even more of what a parent wants. What a concept.

Yes I have. The goal is winning. Its the whole point. Without that, there is no joy. And there is no sport.

The joy of playing is directly related to the goal of winning.

I play in the most recreational of recreational soccer leagues. The joy of playing is directly related to the goal of winning. My kids play on the schoolyard. Same deal. Like it or not. Any schoolyard supervisor should be able to attest to that because squabbles are common. And no, its not the kids who play competitively who cause the problems. Its the ones who don't play much at all and aren't used to being scored against, or just can't believe things like something they do by accident (hand ball) could possibly be counted against them.

Unless they have the goal of winning they have nothing to be playing. If you don't believe me, sign up for a rec soccer league. Decide by yourself, for yourself, that you will enjoy kicking on your own net. See how many of yoru teammates are willing to join in the fun with you. When you find out that they aren't ask WHY?

You don't loose your trophy once you've earned it either.

I don't think so. Socializing isn't particularily expensive.

I'm just meeting parents who didn't hang up their social lives once they had kids. Much like I previously met people who didn't hang up their social lives once they graduated from highschool, found a boyfriend, graduated from college, moved for grad school, got a job, relocated for a job, got married etc.

My social life hasn't finally improved. Comparatievely speaking, I do give it great marks since having kids. Up there with the gradschool and first post college job period. Which really rocked.

We have a greater family income now than previously because of typical career development timelines not because of typical baby birthing timelines. I'm not sure what you think I initially said.
