What kind of errands....

Do you run on a daily basis? Weekly basis? Monthly basis?

I've often heard people say that they need a lot of time during the week to run errands and that those errands would otherwise take up their evenings and weekends if they had to WOH ft. It made me curious because I just don't seem to have many errands to run at all. Are we just lazy :-)?

It's more about acting as a team than making life easier for any adult.

Ours starts out the same way but then it goes on to ALSO say, "the parent or guardian notified will be expected to come for the student as soon as possible." So I guess we're both right in our respective school districts.

When you van see no goal beyond winning, you are living a competitve lifestyle. A subsequent post of yours where you say "who said anything about seeing no goal beyond winning?" would be what I was referring to when I made the post about an alter-personality bubbling up to post.

I wouldn't get as worried as you do about what yours says, either. Expected to come as soon as possible is a far sight from compelled to come immediately.

As a parent, you're on your child's team. If, God forbid, you ever have to work closely with a school nurse on behalf of your child, on a routine basis, you'll find out what I mean.

Well looking at it that way the average school nurse would probably prefer it if a puking child was mandated to stay in the classroom, under the teacher's supervision. Or maybe in the principals office, under the principals supervision. Or maybe if the child had to tag along with the janitor under his supervision. Or...

She's a professional. I'm quite entitled to expect that she behave that way.
