What kind of errands....

Do you run on a daily basis? Weekly basis? Monthly basis?

I've often heard people say that they need a lot of time during the week to run errands and that those errands would otherwise take up their evenings and weekends if they had to WOH ft. It made me curious because I just don't seem to have many errands to run at all. Are we just lazy :-)?

I knew it. No firsthand experience with competitive sports. Nothing but vicarious conjecture. What a waste of everyone's time.

Hey, wait. She might know some people who know some NHL stars. That has to count for something.

Who'd be second guessing her judgment in contacting me? Of course I'd want to be contacted if he were ill. I'm just not going to die of fright that she's going to report me to the state for child neglect if I'm not going to be picking him up within 15 minutes after she does.

I am lol envisioning this pi##ing match betwixt Dogma or QM and the school nurse.

"Yes hello Mrs X? Your son is feeling very ill and has just vomited and we need someone to come get him"

"Well, you are the professional, I will be there when I am darn good and ready and you can't make me get him, it is not in the school manual anywhere that I am actually required to pick him up in a timely fashion"

All I am thinking is poor junior, who probably would just like to go home, but power mom must put nursey into her place.

What is up with people today?

FTR, I'm also completely missing where you ever said anything remotely like winning is the only thing that matters, by having suggested (correctly) that indeed it does matter.

Well, how about, "Well, okay, but I work in DC and the next train out leaves in 40 minutes.

"Veronica: "I hate fake deer too. Every time I see their stupid fake-deer faces I want to grab a shotgun and go all Cheney on 'em." Sure, but since fake deer don't talk, they won't

Please, don't speak for me.

I happen to have a cell phone which I carry with me. It is not always feasible for me to answer it. My DH, if he can't answer his phone or pager, has someone assigned to do so in his stead. Which makes me pretty easy to get in touch with, and him, almost impossible not to be able to reach.
