What kind of errands....

Do you run on a daily basis? Weekly basis? Monthly basis?

I've often heard people say that they need a lot of time during the week to run errands and that those errands would otherwise take up their evenings and weekends if they had to WOH ft. It made me curious because I just don't seem to have many errands to run at all. Are we just lazy :-)?

No, as a matter of fact, I don't get calls from the nurse for no reason.

It's a good thing your backups have never been in a situation where they weren't sure what to do. My son sustains a major injury, I'm not having my neighbor, no matter how nice and available she is, decide which hospital to take him to or what kind of treatment he gets. It wouldn't be fair to her to ask her to decide that, that would be a family decision. It's not a likely thing to happen, but it's a potential situation I'd be much more concerned about being prepared for than the situation where he's puking.

I shouldn't think the nurse would have any call whatsoever to lay a "trip" on you about your kid getting sick at school. Are you supposed to be psychic? Is a kid getting sick at school something that's that distressing to your school's nurse?

Well gee whiz, there's a shocker. Not a lot of people start with their third borns.

And you can bet that I never will have that twisted perspective.

You could try actually following what is being said, instead of making stuff up. That might be fun.

Your coworkers wouldn't take a message?

No. Not nice that her kid has medical issues, nice that she's cool with asking how high when the school nurse asks her to jump.

You never know when a child of yours might be dependent upon a school nurse and the connection between nurse and parents for school attendance.

Thanks. Nothing life threatening, but definitely a team situation there. Some people don't know how lucky they are.
