What kind of errands....

Do you run on a daily basis? Weekly basis? Monthly basis?
I've often heard people say that they need a lot of time during the week to run errands and that those errands would otherwise take up their evenings and weekends if they had to WOH ft. It made me curious because I just don't seem to have many errands to run at all. Are we just lazy :-)?

Yes. But they would not likely track me down to get it to me. GPO is a pretty large campus. Building 1 takes up a city block. We aren't limited to Building 1. Most of our campus consists of building constructed prior to the Great Depression, so intercom, PAs, etc. aren't really assets we can use. And then there's the budget work that's coming up; as the new kid on the block, I'm likely going to be tapped to head to the Hill for that work, so I could easily be in transit to/from.
I'm not really sure why you're pressing this issue so strongly. I've never said I can't be reached (on the contrary, I believe I've already stated that I *have* been reached by my son's brother's school when needed). I only claimed that my cell phone is more or less useless at work. and since that original point was in a post AGREEING WITH YOU, I'm at a loss here to understand why you need chapter and verse of the message taking process at my office. What's the issue here you're driving at?

Think before you speak (or write) Yeah...like that's gonna work.....

"Veronica: "I hate fake deer too. Every time I see their stupid fake-deer faces I want to grab a shotgun and go all Cheney on 'em." Sure, but since fake deer don't talk, they won't
<<Lets just hope her goal was winning. And unless she was like 4, thats not a good thing. Doesn't describe a child with much of a team focus.>>
See, there you go assuming the goal of the team was to win.

Maybe not a twisted attitude here, but certainly a hostile one. Irrational, too. Is it too much to ask to work together with a nurse to solve a problem for a child?
<<He notices alot about himself. Not quite getting that team thing yet.>>
Even if that's an accurate assessment, it still makes your claim - that the joy of playing is directly related to the goal of winning - false.

Your pal is the one who didn't get it. You're only embarrassing her by pointing out how obvious it is.
edited to add, because you clearly don't get how my post relates to hers, that she demonstrated her basic ignorance by saying that the incidence of births at mom's age of 35 is "totally unrelated" to the incidence of first birth for 35yo moms. Obviously, as you point out, that is not true.

No, you really don't, do you?
Just like in business. The goal is to get the deal every time. But the joy is in the process.
You said that the joy was in winning and without it there was essentially no point. I disagree. The goal may be to win, but the joy is in the process both in sport and in many other pursuits IMO.
