What kind of errands....

Do you run on a daily basis? Weekly basis? Monthly basis?

I've often heard people say that they need a lot of time during the week to run errands and that those errands would otherwise take up their evenings and weekends if they had to WOH ft. It made me curious because I just don't seem to have many errands to run at all. Are we just lazy :-)?

Well, you made it quite clear you aren't up there trying NOT to get a hit and trying NOT to run fast. Silly me for making the assumption - shall I capitalize any of that, Hollie? - that you might just be up there trying TO get a hit and trying TO run fast. But no, now I'm to think you're up at the plate, trying to have fun, and that "fun" comes without even trying to make a hit, or trying to run fast. Dare I ask what exactly you are doing toward the end of having fun, standing at the plate, bat in hand? Is it something you can describe on a message board?

Or in other words. I win. You lose. But thanks for coming out. And I am glad that you derive just as much enjoyment from losing as from winning because that would mean you are enjoying your loss as much as I am enjoying my win. Which is alot.

Gee, and here I thought I made it loud and clear multiple times in multiple places that my goal was to have fun, regardless of hitting, running fast or even winning or losing.

All I can say is that I now need to develop a new found respect for doctors and a real long list of meaningful questions to ask next time I see one.

On second thought I also now have to develop a new found respect for all responsible adults and a real long list of meaningful questins to ask next time I see one. I don't think I know any.

I do know that my emergency contact lists are devoid of suitably responsible adults. So ya populate those list by looking up 'Frotune Teller' in the phone book. Who knew?

All this talk about the nurse's room means I'm actually going to have to check out the nurse's room at my dd's school. I was actually in there once last year and my dd, who had a stomachache but hadn't actually puked, was sitting in a chair by the door. I noticed a bed pushed up against a wall, and a few other kids either sitting in chairs, or standing at the desk where the nurse was sitting. I did not see an adjacent room, and marginally knowing the layout of the building, I don't think there is a separate room, nor curtain. But since I don't know for sure, I'm certainly going to check it out now LOL. Perhaps ikaterama would know (her kids went to the same school...)!

Where did I say I was going up to bat to try and get a hit?

Has every school you have been affiliated with had a nurse on site at all times? I am getting an education here. We have a nurse one day a week, the other days the secretary takes the temps and calls in the cavalry when need be.

Um, I was agreeing with the person (ksasmom) who said this:

<>

I was not totally agreeing with whatever it was that Susannahk said. I was agreeing that it was the right thing to do to try have a plan in place so that your child spends a minimal amount of time the nurse's office.

Clearly you don't enjoy losing very much.
