What kind of errands....

Do you run on a daily basis? Weekly basis? Monthly basis?

I've often heard people say that they need a lot of time during the week to run errands and that those errands would otherwise take up their evenings and weekends if they had to WOH ft. It made me curious because I just don't seem to have many errands to run at all. Are we just lazy :-)?

The context of this particular sub thread is limitted to team sport and winning. Its not my fault. I was going with 'althetic pursuits and achievement'. Those people now desperately trying to argue against 'the enjoyment is dervived from the goal of winning' are the ones who redefined the context into 'team sport and winning.

But my GOAL isn't winning.

It's a little late to insist on that now.

According to millions of other people the person standing at home plate with a bat in hand is supposed to swing at the projectile which has been whipped in their general direction with the intention of doing everything within in their power to hit it and they are then suppposed to hussle their butts as fast as they can in the precise direction of first base trying to arrive their without getting out. And there are more things millions of others assume about what is required in order to turn a collection of people who have in their possession the softball game equipment - into an actuall softball team playing the actual game.

What's fun about standing motionless at a plate, bat in hand, planning on doing nothing? And how is it you can call that softball related fun?

That's one variation of the game.
