What kind of errands....

Do you run on a daily basis? Weekly basis? Monthly basis?

I've often heard people say that they need a lot of time during the week to run errands and that those errands would otherwise take up their evenings and weekends if they had to WOH ft. It made me curious because I just don't seem to have many errands to run at all. Are we just lazy :-)?

Savannah was so tuckered out during Kindergarten, that she went back to wetting the bed. She'd been staying dry over night for over a year ... but ft school tired her out enough that she slept considerably more soundly and wouldn't wake to pee.

I hear ya ... I'll come to my office at 8am and have emails from professors that were sent at 7:34pm, or 9:11pm, or 1:34 am or 5:56 am ...

"I can't even imagine what we'd do during the weekdays if I worked and got home after 5 pm. There's very little open after 5 pm." Nonsense. You live in NYC metro CT, yes? Plus, you are aware that we've largely been talking about stuff like kids' sports programs, which pretty much universally occur nights and weekends, right?

We used the bike trailer for my oldest 2. I felt much safer. My son has made it crystal clear he doesn't like it. I miss it. <>

She said she didn't go places because she has kids. Then further clarified it by saying that it was because they were "little". Many people came out to say that little kids had nothing to do with it. That was the issue. Her excuse for not being active. Not the fact she didn't go places with her kids.

""""PNJ's boys seem much more active than the average anyway"""""
Where do you get that from? *More* than average? Her oldest is going to be recovering from fatigue for an entire quarter which will prevent him from attending any other activities other than school. How is that more active than average. Seems opposite to me.

No one asked her to "apologize" for anything.

"I can't imagine any child not making it perfectly clear to mom and dad that he wants a bike ride or trip to the beach/pool." I can, with children who don't think of bike rides or trips to the beach/pool as a remotely available option.

"I have only to open up my back door (and I think PNJ does the same) and my kids are very active for up to 4 hours." "PNJ's boys seem much more active than the average anyway." Please, point to any post which would give you either of those impressions.

The dangers of "black water" - what IS "black water?" (I wouldn't WHITE water kayak with a 3 YO, but "black water?")

"I don't understand the rush." Well then by all means, enjoy the frog hunting.

We pretty much use the whole thing. Do you have any idea how many hours are actually in a week? Well the living room and dining room are sort of underused by humans. Our lifestyle does factor into the still standing decision that we won't get our money's worth out of a pool.

Glad to know I could unite you and QM in at least something.

I really don't think children (and parents) who tire less easily are superior in any way to those who tire more easily.
