What kind of errands....

Do you run on a daily basis? Weekly basis? Monthly basis?

I've often heard people say that they need a lot of time during the week to run errands and that those errands would otherwise take up their evenings and weekends if they had to WOH ft. It made me curious because I just don't seem to have many errands to run at all. Are we just lazy :-)?

I know that you can't comprehend why someone would want to live in the sticks.

You don't think your ds' natural energy level has anything to do with how much activity he can handle before he gets fatigued?

There is a way to have a kid who isn't exhausted by the switch from 15 to 30 hours of preschool. Get him so used to activity that 15 extra hours of sitting in school is LESS activity than he's used to.

What I am having a hard time imagining is the adults in the family choosing a place to live just because they like it, if it's going to mean negative things for their children.

No, not if that's what it takes. I think you are probably right in that it will take a while since Petey is both young for grade and also not used to a lot of activity.

15 extra hours of a substitute activity that mimic school hours (that much extra time being on extra good behavior and paying attention)?

If your children had been more active up until now, they would be starting from a higher baseline. But maybe Petey wasn't ready for more activity until now. Or maybe you weren't.
