What kind of errands....

Do you run on a daily basis? Weekly basis? Monthly basis?

I've often heard people say that they need a lot of time during the week to run errands and that those errands would otherwise take up their evenings and weekends if they had to WOH ft. It made me curious because I just don't seem to have many errands to run at all. Are we just lazy :-)?

Really. I made both mine ski, skate and swim whether they liked it or not. By about the age of 6 they realized the connection between aquatic recreational persuit enjoyment and swimming lessons. My daughter who hated skating lessons at 6 years was in love with ice hockey by 8 yrs. She wasn't a big fan of skiing to begin with, but good thing I pushed her or she'd have been slightly bored on our family ski trips. My 9 yr old son positively hates piano lessons but as the pokemon and bionicle posters on his bedroom wall have now been replaced by green day, simple plan and the killers - I'm guessing I'm not exactly heading him in a perpetually personally unrewarding direction here either.

Then why the following objection from you:

"Do you mean being grateful to have my particular children has nothing to do with said children being wanted and planned? If so, how can you possibly conclude that, for me, personally?"

There was no possibility before you had children of you ever having an emergency? Your neighbor couldn't have called to let you know your house was on fire? You had no other family who might have a car accident?

Loving something does not enable a child to catch up.

So why is the fact that he won't plan anything now an excuse for not doing anything.

The lucky child is the one whose parents enjoy the child's contribution to their lives, planning not withstanding.

No, nothing ever used to happen that automatically required my attention, unless I count the occasional burst water heater. Even a thing like that can usually wait a couple of hours. But somehow, once I became a parent, I was lucky to get through a full work week without something or other kid-related coming up. Nothing unique there, but since you asked. Are we really debating whether becoming a parent changes things?

"Are we really debating whether becoming a parent changes things?" Of course not. We're debating whether that's a problem.

Never? Are you sure? Not even if they practice harder or pick up a few clinics?

Well then, are we really debating whether having kids ever poses a problem? Exactly what's a problem, now that all depends, but I've never seen a family without kid-related problems. There's not much I would say never ever causes a problem for anyone.

Because I was guessing what you meant.
