What kind of errands....

Do you run on a daily basis? Weekly basis? Monthly basis?

I've often heard people say that they need a lot of time during the week to run errands and that those errands would otherwise take up their evenings and weekends if they had to WOH ft. It made me curious because I just don't seem to have many errands to run at all. Are we just lazy :-)?

A 5 yr old with a stomach virus is not an emergency.

Come on now, when did I say my life was filled with problems? But if I had no problems before kids, and now I have a few once in a while, it seems reasonable to conclude I might not have had them if I didn't have kids. Not always, but at least on occasion. And sometimes they're not easily solved, either.

Science project forgotten falls under the "not my problem" category at my house.

So with all this use of the world 'choice' why in the world are you trying to support the position that is 'I have no choice wrt lifestyle because I have kids'.

And all lifestyle choices aren't equally valid. We won't/can't live an active lifestyle because its too much trouble with kids is about as valid as we can't/won't eat a well balanced diet because its too much trouble with kids or we can't/won't earn a living because its too much trouble with kids or we can't/won't bother keeping a home that meets basic hygeine standards becuase its too much trouble with kids.

It doesn't matter one bit unless it matters to them. And a challenge is a good thing!

I'm waiting for her definition of "problem."
