What would YOU have to do to SAH?

If you're a WOH/WAH mom, what sort of "downsizing" would you need to do in order to afford to be a SAHM? (SAHM defined here as not earning any money)

For me, I would have to put all our non-essential possessions in storage and move in with my parents.

BAER that hasn't stopped you from reporting people every time your fee fees get hurt -- I love that you're hiding behind it now.

One of the things that concerns me -- not overly, but a little -- is that neither dd nor ds have found their "thing" yet.

I think scouts is different, at least it was when my boys were in cub scouts, it was required for parents to be involved.

You do what you have to do. It is one probably the main reason I am still a sahm. Now, YDS does not have 3 hours of homework per night - yet. But he usually has 1-2 hours of homework a night. I sit with him through most of it. He needs a scribe and a reader for most of it. We try to get most of it done before dinner.

It's really helped my kids, something I learned a long time ago with them....if they write, they know it...at least for the most part.

I can see what is turned in on the teachers sheet that she provides each day and that you are to sign at the end of the week.
