What would YOU have to do to SAH?

If you're a WOH/WAH mom, what sort of "downsizing" would you need to do in order to afford to be a SAHM? (SAHM defined here as not earning any money)

For me, I would have to put all our non-essential possessions in storage and move in with my parents.

Can I ask what the 2 B's were in?

Geez, that's an awfully personal question. What's next? Needing to see her blood workup and pap smear results? what could possibly be the benefit to YOU of knowing that information?

I know the grade in English is b/c she tends to forget periods at the end of sentences... LOL

It's because you steal them all for your ellipses ;)

I have to believe that what talbots.lover and sweetheart "suspect" about their children weighs infinitely more valuable than anything you might be surmising. So if you're so quick to dismiss or question their 'suspicions' surely you can tell us why they should give your own musings on the subject any validity?

Oh, c'mon, it's so much FUN to play shocked on the bad parenting of others when they refuse to address an imaginery problem that hasn't happened.

I'm having visions of the old SNL skit from the early days, a faux public television show called "What if...?" The two episodes I remember were "What if Napoleon had the B-52 at Waterloo?" (he'd probably have won ;) "What if Superman had been on the side of the Nazis in WWII?" (Hitler probably would have won ;)

you KNOW I love me my ellipses...almost as much as I love my em-dashes...
(ah editing humor) . I'm clearly also a big fan of parenthetical statements.

I only have 2 not in school yet. Hunter is in preschool and learning to read, can't see that he'll have problems that will require 3 hours of help a night. Spencer is 3 1/2 and much like the rest of my kids so nope can't see that he'll need 3 hours of help. All of my kids go to the same school, have had the same teachers, I know what is coming for the 2 little ones. My kids don't even have homework nightly so I can say with certainty that they won't need 3 hours of help a night.
