What would YOU have to do to SAH?

If you're a WOH/WAH mom, what sort of "downsizing" would you need to do in order to afford to be a SAHM? (SAHM defined here as not earning any money)

For me, I would have to put all our non-essential possessions in storage and move in with my parents.

I'm sorry, I guess I haven't been very clear in my statements, but yes...having to do more work to make up for the points he missed as helped him become more organized.

I find that odd. They care enough to use flashcards with their kids to make up for the inadequacy of the curriculum, but not enough to try to get the curriculum changed?

Can you not answer my question, why would what I think have an affect on your answer?

Middle class kids have other advantages, but when you're talking about learning the basics, parental involvement is a huge part of it. It's not as simple as saying that you should just change the curriculum.

h respect for my folks - people would say "what is Katie doing" and my dad would say "she's going on the stage" they would often get "and you ALLOW that?" and my father would say "what's to allow? she's an adult it's her decision and besides she's a hell of an actress"

What is an acceptable facts-based reason to choose a college?

That is about you though. IOW, you want YOUR money's worth out of THEIR college.
