I hope nobody minds I posted this. I lurk a lot and I thought it was a legitimate question. I find it very frustrating that people turn something legit like this into something catty. Instead of arguing about whether or not people are responding, why not make it an anonymous poll??? I personally don't think education makes a difference, but I'd be interesting in seeing the results.

Oops!!! You're absolutely right! Grrr! I knew it seemed like there weren't enough response lines (You can only have 10) and I was leaving something out! Um, any ideas on how to handle that? SO sorry!

HAHA! That's JUST what I was going to suggest.

Perhaps if there is a CL around, they'd be willing to delete the thread & you can re-post?

I guess its futile anyhow, if they only allow 10 answers.

Hmmmm....

I hate to be a complainer but I have 3 years of college-no degree. Can we have some college and work status choice? That is the problem with polls! Not enough choices...

Yeah.. I thought of that one, but not enough choices. I also thought less than HS should have been included. For you, I would suggest considering yourself in the associates degree category, even though you have a little more than that. You might not have received the degree, but I think you'd qualify. :) I think most people who've been to college have a little more education than their degree says anyway. Maybe I should close the poll and forget the whole thing. Not enuogh choices. Grrr!

actually, you also left out other professional degrees, like J.D., M.D., stuff like that.

Maybe you could do -

high school completed

some college

bachelors' degree

masters' degree

terminal/professional degree

or put in a less than high school category, and combine the last two to graduate degree.

and make it paid employment vs. no paid employment.

Still not perfect, obviously.

(edited because I can't count)
