both DH and me grew up with moms at home, those experiences were good ones.

If you planned to SAH, then disliked it so much that you went back to work anyway, and THEN went back to SAH because you thought it was preferable to using daycare, you must logically think that daycare is a very bad thing. Otherwise why would you make that choice.

boy, are we full of twisting words today..i did not say i disliked staying home, i'm happier AH than i was working and shuffling kids to daycare...no, that doesn't translate to daycare being a bad thing.

I didn't realize after-care was so expensive. I only pay $11/day.

No twisting. You said you went back to work because you did not like staying home. However, you liked daycare even less apparently. That certainly implies, strongly, that you considered daycare a very negative thing. If that is not what you mean, then what do you mean?
