Guilty on the last one. I have said "it must be so hard" or "I could not handle it" to people in various situations. It did not stem from pity, it actually came from a kind of awe and admiration, thinking the person must be supermom.

I have learned a lot on this board the last few days.

My advice to moms new to the dance world would be to not get too het up about the underwear thing - it's for the line of the costume and the lighting.

Yes. We. Did.

It upset Stephy for like a minute until her teacher explained why.

I think it's a rude comment, but I'd guess it's probably more thoughtless than a criticism of you.

I would never think someone was wasting their education by taking time off to sah.

I have several sore spots, although none relating to WOH/SAH.

I, personally, do not mind the questions and stares I get with the twins. *I* still find having multiples fascinating and I'm even curious when I meet other multiple moms. A lot of multiple moms get annoyed at the comments but it doesn't bother me. What bothers me, is when people make mean comments like "I'd shoot myself if I found out i was having twins" or "better you than me" or just something nasty like that. Basically making me feel like I have some horrible disease and my babies are some horrible unwanted accident that I got plagued with. Saying things like "I couldn't handle it" is not that big of a deal...although you wouldn't know b/c you haven't BTDT.

That first one made my jaw drop. How can people be so extremely clueless and yet so vicious.
