OK, I don't usually go on message boards, so forgive me (if that's possible for some of you). I keep reading that this is a debate board. Where does it say that? How do I know which are the debate parts and which are not? Frankly it seems that calling it a "debate" just gives people license to be cruel, and I really don't want to be on a board like that. Where can I find the regular boards?

Wow, now that you mention it, I don't see the word "debate" anywhere on the heading of the board itself.

There is a Working Moms Support Board at http://messageboards.ivillage.com/n/main.asp?webtag=iv-psworkingmom&nav=start

I assume there are SAHM and WAHM support boards as well - just click on the 'Message Boards' link at the bottom center-left of this and all the boards pages.

Pretty much anything with 'vs.' in the title is likely to be a debate board - as the PP mentioned, the 'front door' of the message boards separates out support boards from debate boards.
