Which Is Easier?

What do you think is easier? Being a SAHM or being a working mother? I've done both but only worked part time. I think they are both hard, It was hard trying to juggle work and home when I was working, but being at home all day is enough to drive you crazy. Talking to nobody over the age of 5 for 10 hours a day, and doing the same thing day after day.

My husband took a week off of work after our second dd was born, and by the end of the week doing everything that I would normally do, (I had a csection, I was no use to anybody) he said he had never realized just how much has to be done every day and he wanted to just go back to work.

So what is your opinion? What is harder, being at home, or working? Or are they tied, just different?

Yeah, I'd find that annoying too. The 2 offices (one for the owner and the other one for the manager) are tucked away in corners so I don't have that problem. The owner's office is off the hallway to the back where I sew and the manager's office is in a corner of the tux room where she has a view to the 2nd outside door to the parking lot. And the bathroom (actually 2 bathrooms--one for employees and one for customers) is in the hallway between the tux room and the bridesmaid's room (also where the flower girls' dresses, the mothers' gowns, and the clearance gowns are kept). Our shop is a maze of rooms.

I have 2 children that are 11 months apart now they are 28 months and 17 months. I had them so close so I could go back to my career and when I stayed home with them for about a year while I was working part time, staying home was harder.
