opinion to DIFFER. What I mean is--is there anyone on this board or in real life whose opinion/reasoning/debating/facts started to make your thinking more to the middle? As in if you thought sah or woh was best & then after some discussion/thought, you began to think that whatever is best for each family--really there is no one best way, etc.
We just really needed a new thread here!!!!!!!!

After one excursion with a two year old, pouring rain and nightime temps dipping to near freezing, I decided tent camping was for the birds. We bought and used our first rv (tent trailer/popup camper) when ds was 6 weeks old. It was much more pleasant!
We spent more than 25 nights in our rv (we upgraded to a hybrid trailer a couple of years ago) last summer. We enjoy camping.

LOL - my dh's total monthly spending on toiletries and personal maintenance likely equals around $5. He even cuts his own hair.
Beer, OTOH, is another story......

Good luck, lol :)

****Earlier, you said there's no bread after lunch, as if there were some special nutritional reason for a rule like that****
For my children yes it is. That is who I was talking about when I posted that information.
***Now you're saying you just don't usually serve bread with dinner. Although sometimes there might be pizza, which has crust made of bread dough.***
That is the only bread my children got after lunch. We do occassionally have pizza for dinner or spaghetti. We aren't dictators and never allow our children not to have things not great for their diet every now and then. I think that is healthy to break the rules every now and then. As a general rule their nutrionist said no bread after lunch.
***But anyway, what I want to know is whether the kids can have bread as part of an afternoon or before bed snack.****
My kids don't. When they have an afternoon snack they eat cheese strings, fruit, or those gummy snacks. They do not eat a before bed snack. We usually eat dinner around 6:30 or 7:00. They are in bed between 8 and 8:30.
"So what you are saying is it doesnt matter if you talk to your kids about sex or not, your *influence* will be enough to guide them?
I'm sorry but that statement isnt even based in reality. Its a nice thought though."
I agree. Definately not based in reality :)
"And if it isnt a choice they make, and it isnt mom and dads choice, exactly whose choice is it?"
You said it. Exactly whose choice IS it?
"Do you plan to just not allow them in any circumstance where they might have to make that choice? Ie; no dating till they are 18 or something?"
I think she's in for a rude awakening LOL :)
