opinion to DIFFER. What I mean is--is there anyone on this board or in real life whose opinion/reasoning/debating/facts started to make your thinking more to the middle? As in if you thought sah or woh was best & then after some discussion/thought, you began to think that whatever is best for each family--really there is no one best way, etc.

We just really needed a new thread here!!!!!!!!

but do you really think most people wait until that time to have sex. in reality that would be nice but i dont think it is realistic. were you ready to be a parent the first time you had sex - i know i wasnt - if my math is correct it was 8-9 years later before i was ready to be a parent.

I looooove clementines. And what a great treat for kids since they can peel them w/o help (usually). My kids love apples too but they haven't gotten past the skin yet so I have to peel them unfortunately. We go through a ton of apples and clems here every week!

Our children only drink Juicy Juice White Grape juice. We also water it down to where they are getting 25% juice and 75% water. This works great. If they had a glass of juice straight, I think it would make them sick. My kids love fruit. They eat tangerines, apples, but their favorite is grapes. I just wash them and throw them in the frig. They eat them whenever they want them.

Both boys eat skin on, so I'm in heaven re: apples.

Oh I know. I LOVE CORN!! However neither my DH nor my son should eat it. That is one thing my DD will eat. So on occasion she will get it in a restaurant. Corn is very hard on the stomach. It can not be digested. I love it too!

mind if i ask a question....what's the difference between a clementine and orange? i think clementines are much more popular here than navel oranges were up north.

What gives me the fear is not so much sex per se, but choice of partner. I don't get hives thinking of her with some heart-of-gold, lovestruck kid. My personal fear is that she'll fall for somebody who puts on a convincing pretense of lovestruck and then snickers about her with his friends in the locker room. Whoever he will be he'd BETTER be smitten and think she's the best thing since sliced bread (or else, or else, I know, I got nothing as an "or else"). I'm just hoping that Freud is right and we (especially dh, if Freud is right) are influencing her future partner choice not with any discussions of values, but with a more subliminal feeling that will make a "sure, I love you baby" liar or potential abuser jyst "feel" wrong and unattractive even if she can't put her finger on why.

The financial consequences can be kept to a minimum by putting the baby up for adoption. Then the only financial consequences are the medical expenses, which are covered by parents' insurance for many.

HEre is a good description of them.

I was first introduced to them about 8 years ago and have been eating them ever since. They are more popular in this area (Wash DC) in the winter.
