Who has influenced your sah/woh

opinion to DIFFER. What I mean is--is there anyone on this board or in real life whose opinion/reasoning/debating/facts started to make your thinking more to the middle? As in if you thought sah or woh was best & then after some discussion/thought, you began to think that whatever is best for each family--really there is no one best way, etc.

The bread I buy (Pepperidge Farm, any brand with whole grains and at least 3 grams of fiber per serving), ranges from 15 to 20 grams of carbs per serving.
Your daughter is getting as many or more carbs from that apple than she is with a slice of bread.

BTW, scientifically, this is the stupidest thing anyone's posted here in a long time. If the above statement were actually true, your daughter would be DEAD.

It isn't just the carb content.
Since I specifically compared an apple (containing 3.3 grams of fiber) with bread containing at least 3 grams of fiber, they are equivalent in fiber content. And since the apple can contain as much as twice as many carbs without an equivalent increase in fiber AND since you can just as easily put peanut butter on the bread as on the apple, your argument is meaningless.
I have diabetes. I control it through diet and exercise. And this nonsense that the apple with peanut butter is better than bread is just that. Nonsense. A diabetic has to put the apple (and another other piece of fruit you might decide to substitute) right into the same column as bread or any other grain. A carb is a carb is a carb. None of the spin doctoring that you've been doing here previously will change that. An apple is no better or worse for your daughter or anyone else than bread. Bread is not evil. Bread does not cause weight gain. overeating causes weight gain and if your daughter is eating an apple and peanut butter (and peanut butter also has carbs), then she's getting up to three times as many carbs with the "approved" snack as she would with just one slice of bread.
