opinion to DIFFER. What I mean is--is there anyone on this board or in real life whose opinion/reasoning/debating/facts started to make your thinking more to the middle? As in if you thought sah or woh was best & then after some discussion/thought, you began to think that whatever is best for each family--really there is no one best way, etc.

We just really needed a new thread here!!!!!!!!

"Yes one is better to have than the other to SOME people. See what I am saying. Thinking that SAH is better than DC is my opinion."

By jove, I think she's got it :)

Because you are using it as an example for the topic at hand, which was that parental care is ideal over othercare in all cases?

<<You prefer one wine over the other for certain dinner choices. So one is better than the other still. >>

Why are you having a hard time understanding what I am saying?

Everyone agrees that individual choices are just those, so what does your example have to do with the topic at hand?

I agree with that. But I also believe that sometimes it makes absolutely no difference whether they have a SAHP or go to othercare, because on the whole neither is better.

Just as yours haven't held water with the majority of us, let alone have anything to do with the topic.

It's just your opinion you are stating, its not a fact.

The soil, climate, terrain, how the grapes are picked, the container they are stored in before pressing, the pressing in it's self, the container the wine is aged in, the winemaker, the yeast, the temperature that the wine is stored in, how it's bottle, the kind of bottle, the kind of cork, the time it's aged, the glass you drink it in, the food you eat before you drink the wine.....shall I go on?

There was no subthread. The topic was whether or not it's true that parental care is always "more ideal" than othercare. But you misinterpreted that and seemed to think it was about individual choices. The subthread has been about one thing only, which is to help you figure out what the thread is about.
