opinion to DIFFER. What I mean is--is there anyone on this board or in real life whose opinion/reasoning/debating/facts started to make your thinking more to the middle? As in if you thought sah or woh was best & then after some discussion/thought, you began to think that whatever is best for each family--really there is no one best way, etc.

We just really needed a new thread here!!!!!!!!

If your experience of dc wasn't as positive as mine was, maybe you should have kept on looking. Mine wasn't hard to find.

What's really a stretch is to claim that one thing is always better than another. Thinking like that would make my head hurt.

Well, a heck of a lot of people are very concerned about dc ratios. Everything I've read about how to improve dc includes improving dc ratios, especially for babies and younger kids. And only a minority of parents use dc enters for infants. Even some of the most militant posters on these boards were happier using other forms of care for their babies. Can *they* all be wrong?

I have to say that parents wanting what is best for their kids doesn't always translate into what they (or I) think is "ideal." IRL, you make the best choices from those that are available to you. The benefits of woh simply have more weight for many people than concerns about ratios.

Moi? Against the idea of SAH as a valid choice? Not at all; I've even done it. I'm not even against foolish choices. Just as long as we keep our eyes wide open ;-)
