opinion to DIFFER. What I mean is--is there anyone on this board or in real life whose opinion/reasoning/debating/facts started to make your thinking more to the middle? As in if you thought sah or woh was best & then after some discussion/thought, you began to think that whatever is best for each family--really there is no one best way, etc.

We just really needed a new thread here!!!!!!!!

Are you (or Sabinamarianne) claiming that wanting to WOH instead of SAH is "anti-feminine"?

but is it really an opportunity if it is something that is unrealistic to do.

No, it's not common sense to me or many other CTWOHMs.

It is not anti-feminine to want to woh. On the flip side, it is not anti-woman's movement to want to sah.

So, you do not think you are the best choice for your children as babies/toddlers? You think that othercare is better than you?

I'd say SAH is neutral.

And as a mother, my children are more important to me than breaking glass celiings and putting them in daycare as babies to prove a point.

If I thought I was the best choice to take care of my children during the work week to such an extent that it would make a difference in their lives 10 years later, I would have done so.
